OnBase User Guides and On-Line Training

To access University-specific installation instructions and quick guides, active faculty, staff, and students can login here to access internal resources.

The University purchased an enterprise Premium Training package from Hyland Software (the OnBase vendor).  Anyone on campus may watch any of the training videos available via Hyland’s web portal.  In order to access the videos you must first create an account.

  • Go to https://www.hyland.com/community/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fcommunity
  • Click the “Sign up here” link; follow the directions.  Please be aware it may take up to 2 business days for Hyland to review and approve your request.
  • Use your “@richmond.edu” email address as your username.
  • Do not use the same password as your University accounts
  • Choose “End User” as your employee role

Once you have an account; login to the training site at:
https://training.onbase.com/Login.aspx?RedirectUrl=/PremiumGallery.aspx

Click on the “Premium” tab at the top of the page to see available training videos.

This video has 26 short lessons.  New users should view #1-6 to become familiar with OnBase.  Videos 1 – 10 are geared towards accessing and reading documents in the system.  Videos 11 - 26 are geared towards adding and processing documents. You may choose to view any or all of them.
