Wireless Printing from a Mac

Add Mac to Wireless Network: http://is.richmond.edu/network-internet/wireless/connected/mac.html

Add Printers Manually to a Mac OS X Laptop (version 10.6, 10.5)

  1. Open System Preferences and select "Print and Fax"
  2. Click the + sign to add a printer
    Print Utility
  3. Verify the protocol is Line Printer Daemon - LPD
  4. In the address field, type "pluto" as the address
  5. Use the printer name for Queue (e.g., BMLLCPRT1)
  6. The name field should be descriptive (same as Queue)
  7. Location is the user's preference
  8. Print Using: Choose printer driver by model
  9. Click "Add"
  10. Select and set the default printer in the drop down box
