E-mail Configuration for BlackBerry
- Scroll to and select the "BlackBerry Setup" icon (to select press the trackball or press the trackwheel and "Get Link").
- Scroll to and select the "Personal Email Set Up" icon.
The Welcome screen will be displayed. To review the legal terms and conditions, select "View End User Agreement." - Scroll to and select "Yes" to indicate the End User Agreement has been read and understood, then scroll to and select the desired option:
- "I Disagree": Decline the Terms and Conditions and cancel setup
- "I Agree": Accept the Terms and Conditions and continue
- Type in your user name and password, select "Next"
- A confirmation message will be displayed. Select the desired option.
- Important: The following step is critical in order for you to receive e-mail:
- "View E-mail Accounts": Select this option to view the E-mail accounts screen.
- Select "Edit"
- Scroll down to and select "Advanced Settings"
- Scroll down to SSL and select "Yes." The button will then be highlighted and the port number will change.
- Scroll down to "Save." Press the trackball or press the trackwheel.
- You may be asked to enter in your password again and then press "OK."
