Affiliate Accounts

Service Overview

All affiliate account users are subject to the Policies Regarding the Use of Technology and Information Resources. Connectivity issues or computer registration problems that are not addressed by this policy may be directed to the University Help Desk.

The purpose of affiliate accounts is to allow those individuals who are not faculty, staff, or students of the University to use public workstations in the libraries and computer labs found around campus.

Affiliate accounts may be obtained in the University Libraries at the circulation desk and are a service for community users so they may access the unique resources of the University of Richmond libraries, including the library catalog, government information, and other library research materials. Library staff reserve the right not to issue affiliate accounts during periods of heavy library use by Richmond students. However, librarians will be glad to assist users with their research by searching the library catalog or library databases for them.
