Please be aware of a recent spam e-mail message sent to members of the UR community, indicating that it is an important message from Dr. Crutcher regarding a business integrity program. The message asks that the recipient open an attachment and click on a link. This e-mail is malicious in nature, and you should NOT open the attachment. The link has already been blocked at our firewall on campus; however, please be aware that if you open the link from off-campus, you may be subject to the malicious nature of the e-mail. If you received the message, opened the attachment and entered your NetID and password, we recommend that you immediately change your password, by visiting is.richmond.edu and following the instructions for resetting your password.

As an additional security precaution, always check e-mail addresses and be sure that you trust the sender before opening an attachment or clicking a link inside of an email message.
