How To Reset Your Web Browser

Internet Explorer

  1. Select the Tools button, and then select Internet options.
  2. Select the Advanced tab, and then select Reset.
  3. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, select Reset.
  4. When Internet Explorer finishes applying default settings, select Close, and then select OK
  5. Restart your computer.


  1. Launch Safari. 
  2. Click on "Safari" in the menu bar. 
  3. Select "Preferences".
  4. Choose "Privacy". 
  5. Click on the button for "Manage Website Data".
  6. Click on Remove All. 

Google Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click MoreMore button, and then select Settings.
  3. At the bottom, click Advanced.
  4. Under the section "Reset," click Reset.
  5. Confirm by clicking Reset. ​


  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu and then click help Help-29 .
  2. From the Help menu choose Troubleshooting Information.
  3. Click the Refresh Firefox button in the upper-right corner of the Troubleshooting Information page.

  4. To continue, click Refresh Firefox in the confirmation window that opens.
  5. Firefox will close to refresh itself. When finished, a window will list your imported information. Click Finish and Firefox will open.
