Borrow Equipment

The TMSS group has a limited inventory of multimedia equipment available for checkout to University of Richmond faculty and staff. This includes:

  • Projectors
  • DVD players
  • Portable screens
  • CD Players

Equipment Usage Guidelines

  • University equipment is intended for academic or business use only. TMSS does not loan out equipment for personal or home use.  
  • Submitting a reservation does not guarantee equipment availability
  • Users are required to sign a check out log when picking up equipment, and acknowledge their responsibility for returning the equipment in good working order.
  • Users are encouraged to check equipment thoroughly before they leave the TMSS office to be sure it will meet their needs. Make sure that you have appropriate adapters for interfacing the projector with your laptop or other presentation device.  

Equipment available through the Technology Learning Center (TLC)

The TLC, located on the third floor of Boatwright Library, also checks out some equipment to the University community. Items available include: 

  • Digital still cameras
  • Digital video cameras
  • Tripods and light kits
  • Voice recorders
