    2026 SpiderSecure Challenge

    Get ready, October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month! IS Security is inviting the UR community to participate in the 2026 SpiderSecure Challenge.

    What: Complete the 2026 SpiderSecure Challenge and be entered into a raffle

    Where: Online (link provided in email) 

    When: Receive an email (to your richmond.edu account) on Thursday, October 1st and have until October 31st to complete

    Why: To learn about cybersecurity-related tips to help you become more SpiderSecure

    How: On Thursday, October 1st, faculty, staff, and students will receive an email from IS Security

    1. Faculty and staff will receive a link to take the 2026 SpiderSecure Challenge assessment (5 questions)
    2. Students will receive a link to the SpiderSecure Student Challenge course (3 mins)

    Additionally, throughout the month the SpiderSecure Student Scoreboard will be keeping track of the student groups as they complete the 2026 SpiderSecure Student Challenge.
