2026 SpiderSecure Challenge
Get ready, October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month! IS Security is inviting the UR community to participate in the 2026 SpiderSecure Challenge.
What: Complete the 2026 SpiderSecure Challenge and be entered into a raffle
Where: Online (link provided in email)
When: Receive an email (to your richmond.edu account) on Thursday, October 1st and have until October 31st to complete
Why: To learn about cybersecurity-related tips to help you become more SpiderSecure
How: On Thursday, October 1st, faculty, staff, and students will receive an email from IS Security
- Faculty and staff will receive a link to take the 2026 SpiderSecure Challenge assessment (5 questions)
- Students will receive a link to the SpiderSecure Student Challenge course (3 mins)

Eligibility
- Faculty & Staff - Completed the 2026 SpiderSecure Challenge
- Students - Completed the 2026 SpiderSecure Student Challenge
# of Raffle Winners
- (3) Faculty & Staff members AND (3) Students will be randomly selected to receive a prize.
Notification Process
- Selected winners will receive an email from infosec@richmond.edu
- Additionally, date/time to pick up prizes will be cordinated via email
